The impressive thing about Lettuce Entertain You is that their restaurants are all different when it comes to the overall look and feel of the space and the cuisine served. I challenge you to find better brussel sprouts in this city – they are literally the best in all of Chicago. Last but not least, I have to talk about the brussel sprouts. Well Ema is where I make an exception, that’s how good the food is. Whenever I eat out I usually leave with a to go box because I can never finish a meal. My go to meal is the grilled chicken kebab. They all come with house made pita bread that is seasoned to perfection. My favorite are the Charred Eggplant and Toasted Almond & Garlic Spreads. My favorite way to eat! Varieties of hummus, fresh greens, and grilled veggies are all over the menu. The heart of the menu focuses on dips and spreads. In the summer they have an outdoor patio surrounded by lush greenery. Think unbleached wood, marble topped tables, and a leafy green ceiling with some string lights brightening up the space. When walking in from a cold Chicago day, you feel like you’ve walked back into summer. ![]() Those are the two words I’d use to describe the space.
